Year of the dog in Chinese culture and so lucky for some

Hi readers how are you I hope safe of course, how’s your suspension and thoughts about the Chinese animal calendar with this year being the year of the dog, good luck is meant to befall each animal year and I’m the year of the horse.

So saying that it’s with my pleasure to say that so far this 2018 that’s the year of the dog there’s been no hassles and apart from my own woes it’s been stress free not completely but mostly, I’ve had time to think about my luck and a few things have cropped up regarding good luck.

BIRDS ON MY BIRTHDAY

A play on words I know but I internally set myself a goal on this format and it’s partly to see how many people would follow Wiggles as it’s her tweets that get the most attention, her cute face and fanny post quips means we now have a twitter following of over my expected target.

I aimed for 150 thousand followers by my deadline and this year of the dog luck barked it’s orders and I believe I got to 154 thousand with the count now at 155k, all I need now is experience in being sociable then my page will be lit, I think I am already but don’t leave a tweet long enough to find out.

Imagine having a pot of money each month but most of it being given to someone else (I’m talking disposable not our bills etc) well for the past four years that’s what I’ve been doing with my main contact, This debt runs it’s course in the next couple of months and there’s no contesting of the amount paid as my contact sees me as genuine and honest.

These are true but when debts run into the 10s of thousands and your offered a payment plan that in your mind will create an adventure there’s no need to un truthful it’s thanks to this man that I not only have the pieces I have but helped give me meaning in life.

Financial gain from it being the year of the dog has to be purely coincidental or plain ironic I’m not saying that the status gives me any luck my thoughts are that my bills will be finished this year and getting my money back to myself Is the luck (Dang) lol.

“Laid back apart from the accident” that’s how I would describe myself at the moment those that know me well know I suffer deep frustration which gets mixed up with such things as the website and I go from obsessing about views to another problem I find or think up, (my poor poor hosts), I’m getting a better response on my backlink quest there’s some nice people on LinkedIn

As well as that more and more out there are seeing the popularity my visits are public knowledge and we’ve had independent bloggers requesting and even paid blog advertising as well as advertising on my social formats, these are just ideas but more proof of the luck the year of the dog can bring.

BEFORE MY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

My last coincidence during this the year of the dog in showing its luck shining down on me would be advocating and mentioning my new job, it was not 3 years ago I was agoraphobic and didn’t go anywhere, I now have a hobby collectors dream role and work as curators assistant at Brighton museums either in the lab or archives.

I must love the job as the hours flew by and by the time I had even a second to think about anything other than my work it was time to go home, as stated a blog will be coming out on the Brighton museum website and I can share that I’m working with antique spectacles and monocles.

Cor the amount of jokes I could start of with here would sink a ship but I had better be grown up and share my massive news with all that follow us, this year is going to be very special indeed, “IM GETTING MARRIED” that’s right after years of engagement we are finally tying the knot.

Debbie has a wedding planner and I will propose (again in public) and I will leave the girls to sort out all the finer details, for those that didn’t quite get this I AM MARRYING DEBBIE my fiancé and partner of 23 years, I was 40 on Saturday so think it’s time an honest women we make of debbie lol.

The only lucky part of anything here is I’m allowed to show the tiara as proof

So has the year of the dog bought you any good fortune we’d love to hear any stories you may have about the first quarter of the year, as some know my debbie is Anglo Chinese (a brilliant come back when dealing with anyone that may think due to breed we affiliated to bad elements but my wife to be and half Chinese or multi cultural daughter can prove I’m anything but) a lovely middle aged man.

I do believe in luck I’ve had years of the unlucky kind so I’m a master at it so I’m very grateful to the dog gods for giving this doggy lover a break (well more than one so far) I wasn’t going to blog on the wedding as it’s not antique or bulldog yet I feel as it’s me I could put it under collectibulldogs news.
